CAPTAIN AND CHEF COUPLE

CAPTAIN/CHEF COUPLES POSITION
We are looking for a Captain and Captain/Chef couple team to run this beautiful Oyster 675 in both the Caribbean and Med seasons.

This yacht has a fixed program through to May 2026 including the ARC, Caribbean, Azores, Med and Eastern Med cruising and charters. From May 2026, the yacht may then head up East Coast US.

Ideally, candidates will have minimum two seasons experience on board charter sailing yachts and be used to working together on yachts. Accommodation is a very comfortable double cabin. High standards, positive energy and organisational skills are essential for this position as is a love of sailing and water sports. Skillsets and experience within the team should cover engineering, cooking, sailing, hospitality, customer service. Experience with kids will be invaluable and go towards making this a summer to remember for the owning family and their guests.

Candidates will preferably be near the beginning of their yachting careers as this owner wishes to help nurture development of his crew and help their future progression in the industry. This is as much a part of the owner's enjoyment of the vessel as the sailing. As a capable sailor himself, the owner has set the vessel up the way he wishes it to be run and he will be the Captain of his own ship when on board. The current Captain will have been happily on board for nearly 3 years and will be available to give a thorough handover to a new crew.

The owner is looking to fill this long term position for a couple who wish to develop their careers in the sailing industry, really get to know a boat well enough to take pride in her and of course develop a lasting relationship with the owners.

Requirements:
Captain - Yachtmaster Offshore (CE)
Both candidates would be preferably equally qualified in sailing with the Yachtmaster Offshore certifications.
STCW / ENG1
Chef's experience and food portfolio will be important from an Oyster luxury charter perspective.
At least two seasons chartering experience as a couple.
Engineering qualifications or experience is desirable.
